In the year 2000 we
carried out our first experiments to establish which
grape varieties could be cultivated in the region
of Almendralejo, in order to see if the high quality
wines we aimed to produce, could be elaborated.
The satisfying results of our initial produce, both
in regards to the vineyards, where continuing control
of the maturity of the grape and elaboration, as
well as the experimentation of the making of a Crianza
in new French Oak Barrels, triggered our commitment
to further establishment in this region and to the
further development of our wines.
