(In antiquity the presence of vines gave the
region of Badajoz in the South West of Extremadura
its ancient name of BASANGUS - “Land
of Vines”). With this wine we want to
recover our roots and in doing so promote
the new wines from Extremadura.
Basangus is made from Tempranillo and has
followed the most advanced technical elaborations.
The wine has been stored for several months
in a stainless steel vat as well as having
aged in new French Allier oak barrels.
BASANGUS is a full bodied red wine made
from Tempranillo and is characterised by
a superb intensity of colour, structure,
depth and complexity, in harmony with the
elegance of bouquet and flavour as well
as distinct character given by their ageing.
This gives our wine top notes and finish.
